Buyers who keep their finger on the pulse will get a couple of key perks on Surron’s first full-size electric dirt bike, the 2023 Storm Bee F.

Surron’s electric dirt bike arrives on the market with solid stats, like a 75-mile maximum range and 383 pound-feet of torque. That all comes thanks to a 22.5kW electric motor.

But the full-size dirt bike could be even more attractive to anyone willing to elbow their way to the front of the line to get it. Surron “celebrates” the bike launch by offering a $200 value gift pack and priority delivery to the first 100 customers who put down a $500 deposit. No word yet on specifics of what’s in that “gift pack” or what “priority delivery” will get you, however.

First, make your deposit at an authorized Surron dealer, and then await your Storm Bee gift pack and expedited delivery when the first units arrive. The launch promotion’s deadline is October 31, and the first deliveries in North America are expected in February 2023.

If you do make a deposit, you put yourself in line to receive the electric dirt bike and its 104V DC brushless electric motor. At peak power, you’ll hit 68 mph. Back off the throttle a little and you can coax 75 miles out of it around 31 mph. It takes the 104V/55Ah lithium-ion battery 4 hours to fully charge from dead.

Riders can choose between three somewhat self-explanatory riding modes; Sport, Rain, and Eco. Surron has yet to quantify exactly how each one changes what the bike does. The Storm Bee F will also have a Turbo mode, and even cooler, a reverse mode, not something you normally find on dirt bikes.

Rider aids also include traction control and a regenerative brake system, which helps channel wasted energy during braking back into recharging the battery.

The 280-pound bike (curb weight) rides on an adjustable 290mm travel suspension, front and rear, with a 21-inch front wheel and 18-inch rear.

Surron offers the 2023 Storm Bee F as an off-road-only bike in the U.S. As part of your purchase, you get an interchangeable LED headlight and number plate for both recreational riding and racing.

Pricing for the 2023 Surron Storm Bee F is $8,499.
